Start Expanding Your Comfort Zone
+ Self-Belief Today!
Hi! I'm Gwen, and I am a life long Alaskan and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I have been a movement guide for over 9 years!
My fitness journey started as a mission to get skinny, to shrink myself, and to be 'good enough.'
After years of shaming myself into a smaller body, I realized that getting smaller did not equate to loving my body or myself like I had thought it would.
This was when I decided to give up on dieting and strict workout programs and focus on what FEELS GOOD for my body, mind + soul.
I help women find their strength by continually showing up for and expanding themselves by pushing the boundaries of their comfort zones.
I approach movement by believing that every little bit counts and practice makes progress.
Building strength physically not only builds confidence in the body but in our whole self.
As we build strength and trust in our bodies, we also build strength and trust in other areas of our lives.
I firmly believe that when we shift our focus to every little bit counts rather than 'all or nothing', we allow ourselves to shift and grow. Changing our lifestyles takes time + consistency.
It takes becoming aware of ourselves and the subconscious patterns we continually fall into.
The more aware we are of what feels good for us, not just in the moment (instant gratification) but what feels good tomorrow and beyond, the more we can start making little conscious choices that add up to significant change + growth.
As with anything else we want to improve at, strength training is a practice.
We show up to get stronger, to refine our form, and to build ourselves up - body, mind + soul.
Proper form is super important when it comes to moving our bodies and building a mind-muscle connection.
I will help you discover pain-free movement through proper form and modifications.

Mind+Muscle is a strict NO self-shaming or self-judgment zone. 🚫
We are 100% allowed to have aesthetic goals, but we want to work on achieving them through gratitude for what our bodies can do for us rather than focusing solely on how they look.
Another way to show gratitude for our bodies is to accept where it's at in our process of creating a more wellness-focused life.
The more we shame ourselves for not being where we want to be, the further we get from embodying the way we want to feel.
My mission is to empower you to find your inner strength and help you radiate it.
Training with Gwen changed my relationship with my body, my mind, and my soul. Gwen helped me facilitate a mind-body connection by personally curating a variety of workouts for me that challenged my mind, strength, and balance.
What makes Gwen stand out from any other trainer or gym I have worked with is her approach--she took the time to get to know my goals and worked with me to re-evaluate my perspective and motivate me to change the way I think and talk about my body to myself.
Her passion for her work emanates in the way she shows up for her clients with love, compassion, and the desire to help people be their best selves--it is undeniable that she is doing the work she was meant to do. The thing about working with Gwen is that I am STILL benefiting from my time with her because she changed the way I see fitness.
Through her endless encouragement and support, I am able to show up regularly for myself and move my body in a way that feels good AND I am able to maintain strength and avoid injury more than ever before.
I am STILL benefiting from my time with her because she changed the way I see fitness. You will not find another trainer like Gwen--do yourself a favor and work out with Gwen-- it just might change your life like it did mine :)
Gwen has been a motivating force in regaining my strength. Our weekly private training sessions are designed for my ability level which is tracked and adjusted as I get stronger. Gwen is such a positive light and she's committed to women becoming their best selves.
I have been training with Gwen for a few months now and had a major non scale victory I wanted to share! I own horses and one of the reasons I decided to sign up with Gwen is because I was struggling when doing the every day care chores. Cleaning their hooves was the most challenging as I had 16 hooves to clean. I would start cleaning their feet and being bent down in that position would cause my back to hurt and I would be out of breath and sweating. I literally had to take a break between each horse. Well yesterday I cleaned all their feet, back-to-back and went on to the next chore before realizing I didn't even miss a beat. I'm getting stronger, I can feel it. Thanks Gwen!
